THE BRIEF

RTB continued our collaboration with experiential production agency The Umbrella NYC to bring to life the HEX Halloween event for MAC Cosmetics. Located in the gorgeous, historic National Arts Club on Gramercy Park, this VIP invite-only party was the event of the spooky season. With a dozen performers engaging in tea readings, tarot, reading bones, charms, and trinkets, and even a full-blown séance, the NAC was transformed into a shimmering portal, transporting guests 100 years into the past.

With an open bar and a thumping dance floor, guests were free to dig into the usual expectations of a society gathering, but with the addition of secret one-on-ones and powerful mediums from around the world, a very real spell was cast. A surprise performance by indie darling Yves Tumor was the high point of the night before things devolved into something…darker.
